The Power of Starting Small: Why Tiny Steps Still Matter

The Check-In

Whew. If I’m being honest, I’ve been in a season where everything feels heavy. Life, work, goals—just a lot.

But I had to remind myself this week (and maybe you need this reminder too): You don’t have to do it all at once.

You just have to start. Start messy, start quiet, start tired—just start.

The Bloom

I’ve been working on a few big things—preparing to sit for my LCSW, applying to a DSW program, showing up for clients who are holding so much… and still trying to show up for myself.

And it hit me the other day—small steps are still steps. That first form you fill out. That email you send. That deep breath before a hard conversation.

It all counts. You don’t have to move a mountain. You just have to move what’s in front of you.

The Shift

Progress doesn’t always look big or loud.

Sometimes it looks like choosing rest.
Sometimes it looks like finally putting your name on the list.

And that’s more than enough.

Your Turn to Grow

What’s one small thing you can do this week that brings you closer to the version of you you’re becoming?

Write it down. Speak it out loud. Take the step.

The Safe Space

Be a part of what I’m sharing over on IG too @thebloomthrivespace if you wanna talk about what you’re starting—or what you’re scared to start. You’re not alone in this.

Let’s keep growing, one tiny step at a time.
